It's not a political "fever".
It's more like a "spark" for political fervour.
In anycase, politics is seriously not the crux of the issue in any country.
Without people, there would not be a country, without country, there wouldn't be a government; there wouldn't be political struggles.
Despite the fact that the situation has supposedly remained the same as last year, there is an improvement seen in the number of votes garnered by opposition parties. The news just said that there is a signal shown in the votes, that the people would love to continue having a good government.
I would love that too. Wouldn't you?
In anycase, I am highly highly exhilarated with Mr Low and Mr Chiam's performances this time. Hougang people are the best. Because Hougangers are Teo Chew, just like the dialect I aspire to be. Damn strong. Ms Sylvia Lim of WP has the best chance to become ncmp. She will be able to do something. She has earned people's respect. 43.92%. Highest percentage among opposition parties who lost.
Noone tags on my board when I write about these political stuff. I am going to take them off soon, lest some trouble brews. I am just glad some of my friends really became interested in the welfare of the country after this elections. As Singaporeans, we have a stake in the country. As youths, we are the pillars. Think. Say. Do. Never ever act seh.(I mean us)
My mom's heart beat very fast at the voting centre today.
I went too, and laughed at her.
But I am filled with envy? Because I would like to exercise my right as a citizen as well.
I hope. X my hands.
