don't be mean to the host.

My friends came over to my house yesterday.

As usual, something will go wrong if too many people come to my house.
I would either say something wrong, or become very irritated because they said something wrong.

Of course, maybe they don't realise it that they said something wrong.
But I know when I am saying something wrong because either their faces would reveal it, or it sounded so wrong that even I myself would realise it.

So many things went wrong yesterday.
But I can say I tried really very hard.

I woke up early to clean and pack my room.
Only to get myself allergic and suffered for the rest of the day.
And have person inform me that my room is "dusty."
Hai. This type of thing don't need to tell me I also know.
A bit hurt.

I did not try to cheat.
Because I really have mahjong at home.:(
It's just that the box that contained the mahjong set wouldn't budge.
My toe was smashed by it anyway.

My mom and gran were kind of disappointed that the sun2 kueh they made remained untouched by my friends. Haha, we ended up eating them for dinner and breakfast.

And I really tried to come up with new ways to entertain.
I really did.
Least my guests could have done was to make the host feel a little better?
Not sighing and have exasperated comments.

Don't make the host feel bad.:(
Because she really felt horrendous.

That her room was dusty.
That the food she recommended was not nice.
That she was really cutting with her remarks because she felt bad.

And one person didn't even say thanks.
Conveniently forgot.

It's not that I really gian4 the thanks.
I just think it's basic courtesy?

I mean one hand cannot cause an applause.
I was kind of peeved.
At least the other said thanks and convinced me that she had fun.

You can at least delude me you know.
I can always try better.

Man, what a petty entry.

Haha.
But I do enjoy having friends over.
More life and noise.
And company.

Feel free to come over again.
Anyday you can tolerate the miserable allergic me.
