I just realised that I am essentially a calm person- by my standards, not by Clarence or Fengyi's standard.

Because their's is not called calm, their's is called Serene. What an odd sentence structure.

You know, the last time I heard, they get paid.
To stand there and look around.
Collect things. And nothing else!
No over-exertion. No Over-utilization of the Brain.
Why can't they be more Human?

Don't give that type of face to stressed kids ( barely 18) who are already stressed because they have to take exam and tell them that they cannot bring texts into the exam hall ( when everyone else can!)

CONFISCATED. I still have the paper right here with me to remind myself not to make the same mistake again.

" Please please, I can erase it right now. I have my eraser and correction tape."
( Frown. Buay song Face) " We are very busy right now. Go out."
" I really can, I need my books." ( Not as if my book is totally annotated, it's just that I didn't erase clean enough * thing is, I can't even read those previous writings and I'm pretty sure I sounded desperate enough.)

Thank goodness the teacher with the same surname appeared.
" XX, can you help me get those books? I need them."
( Ignored the buay song face, and asked me where my books are)
( The sharp-sighted me SAW immediately and told her " There!!!")
( She gave it to me and I left the *damned place)

In any case, I told God to help me.
I told God " oh God, please, help me I really need my books. Please let me have my books back."
A simple prayer at that. And I got my wish. I really am grateful for His Help.

Whatever William said in his poems,about how we can see Godly attributes in humans will not happen. The Oblivion for the mental state of students, the Lack of empathy, is outrageous.

Thing is, I admit we are at fault here. Not erasing the pages properly. Not reading the stupid booklet properly. How was I to know that my stars and smiley faces and my stupid " Tay Min Si" signature in the books are considered as " ATTEMPTS AT CHEATING" oh man? I'm sorry I forgot all those.

Please lei, give a bit of sympathy.
First time taking an open book exam.
The teachers said - No annotations.
No annotations what!!!!
And you give me that kind of face.
And you give me that kind of tone.
And you give me that buay song attitude.

At the end of the day, you forgot that it could be you taking the exam.
At the end of the day, you forgot that it could be your child in our positions!
At the end of the day, YOU DON'T lose anything by giving a bit of encouragement and warmth to the kids. HUH!

Kao. Next time, if I am in your position, I make sure that I am Human.
Above all, to not agitate the students ( they have a freaking exam in 2 mins) and erase those markings withour LAMENTATION.
