I am taking more pleasure in my work now.
It is more fufilling and interesting than ever.
I've never felt more responsible.:D

I admit, if the teaching profession had been more distinguishing in it's selection of employees,
if the salary 1.5 times more than the current pay,
if there is lesser workload,
I would become a teacher.:D
Because I enjoy marking, planning and interacting with youths.

4 weeks into the job and I am finally finding pleasure in routine.
Frankly speaking, I am not really into routine.
I am more into adrenaline.

But, as I am discovering more and more about these young ones that I have a hand in molding,
I realise I am not just a teacher,
but also a part-time mom, friend,tutor and nurse.

The most exciting part of my job occured today!
My student got sick.
Woohoo, and I had to call his mom up.

Today, I got to meet my first parent.:D
Not for complaint or anything,haha, Come on!
I finally found out his name.
He is the most shuai guy in my sec 1 chinese class.
So good-looking. This time I am saying it for REAL!
Don't doubt my taste:P
Anyway, it pained my heart to see him suffering in pain because he has fever.
His face was ash-white and he couldn't even talk or walk.
Or he could do was stare up at me with his pitiful eyes and pale face.
I felt like hugging him.:(
Maternal instincts haha.

I did NOT haha attack him.
Too young.
He does not look like his dad.
Who is a lecturer at my brother's poly, maybe he teaches my brother and I teach his son.
Cool!
So shuai, I bet he got his good looks from his mom.

I shall take photo with him before I leave.
I have a crush on my student.:(

BUT I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON THAT IRRITATING DISGUSTING LOOKING FELLOW WHO HAS THE SAME SURNAME AS ME.
Talk about bad luck. Which I don't believe in.
He has bad breath, which cause me to want to close my nostrils when I talk to him.
He has a horrible attitude, always talking about horrible stuff about me in front of me.
He asked me if I was bluffing about my love story.
Oh come on. He said:" You are fat and stupid, why will anyone like you?"
I made him do detention.:D
And told him, " You have hair like maggi mee and super bad breath, I don't think any girls will want you.Ever.Forever. Moreover, Your psle score lose to me by 10 points. Talk about stupid."

The part about the maggimee is true.
Somemore he wrote that he don't like chinese lesson.
Wah. He is the only one is my 70++ students.
Talk bout murder.

In any case, this conversation when reflected to any sensible or sane adult will probably roll their eyes.
How can a 19 year old bicker with a 13 year old. That is so childish.
But if you were me, you would want to kill that boy, yes he is THAT irritating.
And I tell you, teachers can take revenge, by failing you. WAHAHAHA.
of course, I am not that evil.

I found out that my favourite boy in class has diabetes.
He wrote that in his essay.
Now I have another reason to hate diabetes.

Oh yeah, talking about irritating students, there is this horrible horrible girl in class who speaks like a man. Throaty and bassy, I was spooked by her voice for many days before I finally got used to it.

Also, she likes to sa3 jiao1. And teh2.
Wah I cannot take it.
But I have my temper under control.
She better don't give me that face again, or else I will torture her.

In any case, I like this class as well as my NA class.
